Meghan: the other American player; played at University of Tampa and in Hungary last January-April; setter; roommate.

Jimmie: pronounced Yimmeeeeee!!; president of LBVK; brother to Jocke.

Jocke: pronounced Yo-k; manager of team; brother to Jimmie; sambo with Jules.

Daniel: head coach; teaches both middle school and kindergarten.

Lena: pronounced Lay-na; 1st assistant; team “mom”; sometimes plays with us in practice too.

Joel: pronounced You-ell; 2nd assistant; avid floorball player (but he plays with kids younger than him so he is the best); works with Malin and Lisa at the super secret warehouse job.

Malin: girl whose apartment we stayed at for our first 2 weeks; outside hitter; has a super secret job that if she tells you she has to kill you, seriously.

Julle: pronounced Yoo-lah; real name Johanna; team captain; plays right side; sambo with Jocke.

Sofie: outside hitter; mother to Ida (pronounced Eda).

Lisa: real name Elisabeth; outside hitter; works at the super secret factory; youngest on the team at 20.

Nata: real name Nathalie; setter; only other person on the team who likes sushi besides Meghan and me.

Linn: setter; works at InterSport with Emma’s husband.

Mia: real name Maria; libero; works at Swedbank; lived in America for 3 years; oldest on the team at 32.

Selma: libero; originally from Bosnia, but has lived in Sweden for 18 years; about 15 minutes after meeting her I hit her in the face with a spike.

Emma: middle; teacher; has my coveted #13.

Asia: real name Joanna; middle; originally from Poland; speaks Polish, some Swedish, and very little English.

Jaz: real name Jasmina; middle; goes to school in Växjö so she only comes to practice twice a week.
